# Set 2D Mode

Use this rule to switch the Scene View into 2D (or 3D) mode for the kind of work you're doing.

### On workspace enabled

The Scene View is switched into 2D (or 3D) mode, depending on the toggle.

### On workspace disabled

The Scene View's previous mode is restored.
